Ms Betty KWAN Ka-ching

Former Acting Registrar of the Court of Final Appeal (2000-2002)

Ms Kwan became the Acting Registrar of the Court of Final Appeal in 2000.

Ms Kwan was born in Hong Kong in 1944. She was called to the English Bar at the Lincoln's Inn in 1981.

Ms Kwan joined the Hong Kong Judiciary as a Magistrate in 1987 and became Principal Magistrate in 1993. She was a Judge at the District Court from 1994 to 2000. From 2000, she served as a Deputy Registrar of the High Court.
